Marion Welch – Lead Practitioner
As Young Carers Lead Practitioner, my role and responsibilities are;

  •  To lead the delivery of service for young carers in the Northern Devon area
  •  To direct the work of the Young Carers Support Workers
  •  To promote, develop and raise awareness of young carers’ needs and issues
  • To liaise with professionals on issues of concern for young carers
  • To maintain contact with health, education and social care professionals to promote the identification of young carers

Jim Harvey – Young Carers Support Worker
I am one of the Young Carers Support Workers for Northern Devon.  My role is to organise respite activities, residentials and after school drop-in clubs in the area.   I am available to meet with young carers to chat about issues and concerns that affect them and to support them through difficult times.

Ann Arnaouti-Baan – Young Carers Support Worker
I am one of the Young Carers Support Workers for Northern Devon.  My role is to visit young carers and their families following a referral and complete an assessment of their needs.  I help to organise respite activities, residentials and after school drop-in clubs in the area.  I am available to meet with young carers to chat about issues and concerns that affect them and to support them through difficult times.
